Why Unidos Podemos exists.
Unidos Podemos is a Mexican American cultural storytelling community.
We exist to preserve stories, remember where we came from, and understand how we got here. To honor the generations before us, celebrate what survived, and recognize what Mexican Americans have built.
Our history includes sacrifice.
But it also includes creativity. Courage. Family. Achievement. Joy. Resilience. Ambition. Culture. Power.
Our stories. Our roots. Our people.
Why I built this.
I spent my early childhood in Mexico and grew up in the United States. Later I served in the United States Marine Corps, and I built a career in marketing and communications.
I started Unidos Podemos from my own experience of identity, memory, family, and belonging.
But it grew because so many of us shared the feeling.
